Hello, 2022! (and maybe a new home?)

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Fortunately, the holidays were wonderful for the Faith & Hope Realty family and we are so excited to see what this new year will bring.

For many of us, myself included, a new home is on the horizon. (We are outgrowing this apartment with every second, because sweet James is already half my size!) This can be quite an intimidating venture though! So, how can the process be made easier? That is where we come in. Christina, Tonya, Aaron, and I are all here to help you through the entire process. We are always available to answer your questions and help guide you through the process of finding a home for you!

While every situation is unique in its own way, there are some basic steps I recommend to everyone I speak to. First and foremost, get pre-approved. Go to your bank or credit union, and see what rates and mortgage amounts you qualify for. If you don't love their offers, feel free to look around. Either way, getting pre-approved will tell you how much house you can buy and give your realtor an idea of what to look for. After pre-approval, you want to find a realtor (keep us in mind!), then start looking at houses. When you find the perfect place, we will assist you in putting in an offer, moving through inspections, closing, and you becoming a homeowner!
